Thanksgiving Break Recap: Puppy Yoga with Petals for Positivity

This Thanksgiving break, the Petals for Positivity team worked hard to prepare for and host our Puppy Yoga with Smart Puppies event on Summer Street. We are thrilled to share that within just two weeks of launching ticket sales, we raised over $1,000! This success is a testament to the incredible support of our community, and we couldn't be more grateful.

The event was a partnership with Smart Puppies, an ethically bred puppy store in Stamford, CT, that also offers grooming and wash services. Smart Puppies is committed to providing healthy, well-cared-for puppies while offering top-notch grooming services. By supporting this wonderful local business, we’re helping promote positive change in the community—one puppy at a time.

Yoga, Bake Sale, and Giving Back

Our yoga sessions were led by trained members of our team, who guided attendees through relaxing poses while cuddling with adorable puppies. It was a wonderful experience for everyone involved, combining the joy of yoga with the cuteness of puppies.

We also held a bake sale, which raised an additional $200! The leftover treats were donated to the Residence on Summer Street, a retirement and assisted living facility. It was heartwarming to see the smiles on the residents' faces as they enjoyed the delicious baked goods.
